Goldcrest - Regulus regulus

These are often seen or heard in my garden, but I've rarely photographed them. This one was on a weeping birch tree in my front garden one afternoon when I came home from work. I got a great view of it, but unfortunately had only got a very soft 70-300mm lens that I had borrowed from a friend - and the light was poor. This was the best shot I managed and I hope I'll get a similar opportunity now that I have a far sharper lens!
