Sparrowhawk - Accipiter nisus

I was fortunate to be looking out of my bedroom window when this male sparrowhawk was perching on my fence. I was even more fortunate that he stayed there long enough for me to go downstairs, find camera, change lens and dash back upstairs.

The shot was taken through a closed window - and was rushed so I forgot to check settings... hence shutter speed of just 1/15. Must say, I'm very impressed with the 300mm f/4L IS lens! Not the prettiest of shots, but records a bird I was very pleased to see there.
